Yenepoya Centre for Allied and Healthcare Education (Yen-CAHE), Yenepoya (Deemed to be
University), is hosting the CAHO Train-the-Trainer (ToT) Programme on 22 and 23 August
2026 at the MEU Hall, Academic Block, Yenepoya Medical College, University Campus,
Deralakatte, Mangalore. The programme is conducted by the CAHO Student Engagement
Committee and hosted by Yen-CAHE.
Designed as an advanced faculty development programme for CAHO trainers, the two-day
initiative brings together clinicians, hospital administrators, quality leaders and other
healthcare professionals involved in training and capacity building. The programme focuses
on strengthening facilitation, instructional design, learner engagement and effective
training delivery, with an emphasis on experiential and practice-oriented learning.
The programme includes hands-on sessions on high-impact presentations, AI and
technology-enabled presentation design, interactive learning experiences, microteaching,
feedback and reflection, programme evaluation, session planning, communication and
facilitation skills. The blended learning format also includes preparatory webinars prior to
the in-person programme.
The programme features an experienced panel of resource faculty from Yenepoya Medical
College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Kasturba Medical College and other
institutions. The initiative aims to equip healthcare educators with contemporary, learner-
centred training approaches and promote standardized, effective capacity-building
practices across healthcare organizations.
